I hate both candidates currently running despite being from Denver. People from Denver are supposed to be Obamabots, but I rebel!
I voted for a guy I can't remember the name of, simply because he was running for the "Boston Tea Party". I lol'd.

While I'm not too familiar with it, I seem to recognize the name. Isn't it kind of like the Rhino party in Canda, just making a joke of polotics? If so, way to go! I wish we still had the rhino party:(. Thier platform: a rhino for every Canadian.

I don't even know if they have a platform.

Hmmm...yes...elections really don't matter, but its because people are either uninformed about the candidates or take it lightly when they step into the booth and vote that there is an electoral college system in the United State of America. :S

Personly, often do question how much the elections matter. No doubt, there will be differences based on who wins. The problem I find is that no matter how much a candidate has the country in mind, the bottom line is that they are all polititions. 98% of the time they will say what needs to be said in order to get into power, and the other 2% when they truly mean what they say, it can never be assumed that it will happen because there may be things that the candidate is not aware of. Personaly, I find it more reliable to go by what the party's ideals are, not the candidate's.

I agree 100% actually. But with this, I don't like either one of the mains. Mccain is a Bush clone and Obama is a borderline pacifist with no experience. Pacifism is great and all, but with politics eh, not so much. Not sure what I'm gonna do come tuesday.

Again, I'm only going by what I see/hear here (which mostly consists of Stewart/Colbert ) but I find that as far as republicans go, McCain isn't that bad. Don't forget, he has to follow the paty's basic ideals, but other then that I think he has some good ideas himdelf. And yes, this post did just contradict my last.

Well, I'm just glad I'm 17, and not old enough to vote... I'm conservative to the core, and I'd have a choice between a liberal republican and a liberal democrat. :S

Yep. Obama. The first African American president of the U.S.! (I am frightfully scared, as he is a liberal democrat, and I'm a conservative republican. )
