As some of you know I'm currently doing my apprenticeship for chef training. I wanted know if anyone else loves cooking or is even considering going into the industry as well. And what kinds of things do you like to cook?

No you aren't, but try to post more when you are here.
I just found the discs with pictures of all the food my class made last year. When I have time I'm going to go through them and I'll post some pics up here.

I like experimenting with food, but I am not really too much of cooking person, probably due the fact that I get restrictions and criticise of the way I do things and while I welcome suggestions, I don't appreciate being forced to do things in certain style.

What exactly do you mean by that? Cooking can be all about you. Even making your self lunch, it's all about what you like. Cooking for others can be a bit more dificult, but you can still add your own touch to it.

Well for example, I mean I don't care if most people fill up a pan with water till the top and I don't while cooking pastas, or that I settle with one kind of use for the chicken and people omes in and expect me to change my plans and gather ingredients for their ideas.
Cooking can be really fun, and yes you can still add your own style to it, people has liked the way I cook so far, but even so, sometimes there will be people that will complain to me, about the way I do things, even if in the end they have eaten and even praised before the taste of my food. It is not like I am not washing the food or things like that it is more silly stuff, that gets tiring to me.

Well don't get discouraged. Maybe if you learn a bit more about cooking you wouldn't be bothered by it. I get a little excited when somone asks me to make somehting other then what I was planning because it's something new for me to play with. (Although yes, getting the ingedients together on short notice can be a pain )
