Like the thread says, anyone beat the game? (I never took the time, I might some day, but I just am not a fan of the original LoZ. [Even though I have a hobby of collecting old Nintendo games/swag/etc., I am selling an LoZ cart. with the instruction manual and Nintendo Power guide, in the box, on Ebay. ).

I did, but it was so long ago I can't really remember much of it, same for AoL. It sucks by todays standards, but you can't play it with todays standards in mind, that only works for a few games and unfortunately, the first LoZ isn't one of them. A good game though, a good way to beat a game in only a few hours, if that

I've tried, but I've gotten so used to the ALttP mechanics for overhead, I honestly find LoZ very difficult. That and it got so discouraging having my game deleted all the time because my catridge batteries are running out:(.

Heh yea, gamecube special edition has a copy of it and AoL on it. It's a lot less frustrating then dealing with the original cartridges.

I know, but I got that a couple years after I got a copy of LoZ, and I had already been frustrated enough!
