 Hylian Dan's Stone tower theory
« Thread Started on Aug 12, 2008, 8:07pm »

This is basically just a thread to start the section off. This is one of my favorite zelda theories, so I've decided to link to it. This link will take you to the "message of Majora's mask" thread on ZU.

http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/n64-zelda/78920-message-majoras-mask.html

And here's a link to the actual full article.

http://www.zeldauniverse.net/articles/the-legend/the-message-of-majoras-mask/

You can discuss here or on ZU. ;D

Well, it had to be lengthy to make good on many of it's points.

I liked the idea, but there are obviously too many assumptions. Thoroughly thought out though, I did enjoy reading it. (I never realized that the islands in Banjo-Tooie looked phallic XD).

A lot of things look phallic in nintendo games. But as they are rarely noticed, you seldom hear of them.

Honestly I think that his theory is being read into too much. He is basing to many things off of theory which is simply fabricating off of things that do not really exist. For one thing if Termina was originally facing heaven, why would Hyrule be facing hell, if Hyrule is the land of the Godesses? I honestly believe that none of the whole evil towards the gods is sensible. The giants are the lifegivers and guardians of the land yes, but Termina is a parallel universe, not definitely even existing in the same time, or space as Hyrule. There is only one link between Termina and Hyrule, and that is the sewer beneath the Clocktower. Think about it. In the beginning of the game you start out in the Lost Woods. Then you meet the Skull Kid. Then you go underground somewhere inside the hollow of a tree. The you travel down a really long, twisty, and mezmerizing hallway which defies physics, emphasizing a possible change in time and space. In the beginning of the game when all of this happens, there is not a great distance traveled, but Clock Town is CLEARLY not in the middle of the Lost Woods. As for the appearances of the Triforce in Termina, I think that early Hylians had stumbled upon the portal and ended up staying in Termina. This possiblilty if further supported by the name Terminian Hylians. Well they are never referred to as Terminians, but only as Terminian Hylians.

    And that's it... xD
