no.you don't understand.The moon IS majora's body.and the mask is the heart of it.read the chapter 9 of the manga.problem solved.

Although it's an interesting idea the manga/comics are not cannon. In fact there are apparently aspects which directly contradict the game (although I my self have not read them).

    When it comes to the moon I believe that it isn't really supposed to have an more significance than Majora's weapon. However it DOES speak the first time you ascend to the top of the Clocktower. The reasoning behind the face I think is more of an easter egg, simply parodying the concept of "the man in the moon", a western tall tale, that there is a man living in the moon and that when there is a full moon you can see his face. And then ironically when you actually get to the moon, there really are people on the moon. Children anyway. xD Also as for the both very surreal, and delightfully ethereal expanses of the beauty of the true moon, I think that it is mainly just an illusion used by Majora to personify or spin the illusion that Majora was innocent/ Which would prove to be true since after Link aquires the Fierce Deity Mask, the Majora Moon Child asks Link if he wants to play a game of good guys versus bad guys, where link would be the bad guy. Also there is no distance traveled to where you go off add beat Majora's little ass, only a transition which could also suggest that Majora's Layer is the true interior of the moon and the beautiful planes where merely some sort of ethereal trance that Majora was keeping link in.

    Oh dear...it would seem as I am rambling...again...
